Every project starts with an enquiry. And as our product range is diverse and customers often require a bespoke solution, we have to dive deep into the detail to understand exactly what’s needed to the resolve the problem at hand.

Once we have all this information, we can identify the right product that suits both the application and the vehicle for safe and efficient operations.
For many designs, we will refer to our large database of fits to ensure that you have the correct fixing to fit your vehicle, we can usually provide you a quotation from this. If you are looking to put a crane into a vehicle that we haven’t worked on before – we may request that we have the vehicle on site so we can develop a new fit.
We do this by measuring the vehicle and using the latest CAD software, our VME design team create a model of the fixing (usually a pillar or corner bracket) to fit it correctly into the vehicle and they perform stability calculations to ensure that the solution is fit for purpose.
Our team are always on hand to answer any questions you have as quickly as possible. We assign you an Account Manager who will be your primary point of contact through this period, helping you to fully understand the product and reach a decision.

After we’ve answered your questions and receive sign-off on the design and quotation, our onsite fabrication team can get to work.
All SwingLift and LoadLift products are made from start to finish by our fabrication team in Derbyshire. Plus, we fabricate full/partial sub-frames for the PH hydraulic crane range in-house, this helps to protect the integrity of the vehicle by strengthening the chassis, improving the stability, and ensuring the crane is safe for operation.
Due to the custom nature of our range, it’s crucial that our fabrication team work closely with the design team to ensure the product is made to the exact specification discussed during the quotation stage.
Should we run into any issues during manufacture, the designers are a just short walk away from our fabrication facility, so issues can be addressed and resolved in a timely manner.
We also work hard to ensure that the customer is notified of progress at each stage of manufacture.
Once the equipment and its fittings have been fabricated, the next step is the installation.
Installation can be done at our HQ by our in-house team of experienced fitters. The fitting team ensures the product is installed onto the vehicle securely, meeting safety standards at every step.
Upon installation, we also provide basic operation training to those who need it. If required, we can also provide ALLMI accredited training at an additional cost.
Alternatively, installation can be carried out by a third-party bodybuilder or vehicle converter. We package the equipment and fitting kit ready for shipping, including comprehensive instructions to ensure installation is as simple as possible.
After your vehicle-mounted lifting equipment has been commissioned, it’s important to stay on top of servicing to ensure your equipment lasts as long as possible and is maintained in line with industry regulations.
