Partnering with Vanliners in Bolton, Canal & River Trust, the UK’s largest canal charity, we embarked on a transformative journey to bolster their lifting capabilities. With a steadfast commitment to connecting people with nature and safeguarding historical waterways, Canal & River Trust sought to fortify its fleet with cutting-edge lifting solutions to streamline its operations.
Our collaboration with Canal & River Trust spans several years, entailing continual supply and support for various depot requirements. This recent trailer crane project aimed at enhancing lifting capacities for Canal & River Trust’s vehicles equipped with larger cranes.
Canal & River Trust faced the challenge of adapting to their upgraded vehicle configurations, incorporating larger cranes to facilitate heavier lifts over greater distances. This upgrade necessitated a reliable lifting solution capable of handling increased loads and extending reach. Approached by Vanliners, tasked with building the vehicle bodies, we engaged directly with Canal & River Trust to understand their needs. Conducting on-site demonstrations, we meticulously assessed the suitability of our lifting equipment for their requirements.
In response to Canal & River Trust’s imperative for enhanced lifting capabilities, we recommended the PH180.3DL trailer crane from our portfolio. This crane model offers impressive lifting capacities of 990kgs close in and 420kgs at 4m, perfectly aligning with their requirements.
Our team meticulously managed all aspects of the installations, ensuring seamless integration of the PH180.3DL cranes onto Canal & River Trust’s vehicles. From product development to delivery, integration, and installation, we provided comprehensive support throughout the project.
